My name is Krystin Yates, and I have had the pleasure of not only sharing four years of my life with the best group of girls I could ever ask for, but also of being elected to serve as the 2009 Alpha Chi Omega President. As a chapter we are involved in many areas of campus life and continue to extend our efforts in support of domestic violence awareness. Last year Alpha Chi chapters collected almost $400,000 to shelters and agencies in their local communities. The Epsilon Lambda chapter of Alpha Chi Omega here at UTA held our first annual "Throw a Pie with Alpha Chi" and raised over $600 in only 2 hours to give to SafeHaven of Arlington. In addition to our service to our service
related projects we take in upon ourselves to live our ritual, and continue to seek the heights as well as maintaining strong relationships with groups within and outside of the Greek Community at the University of Texas at Arlington.
